Pastor Jennifer McClung Rygg preaches the sermon A Church New Year at FBCP: Still Rooted in Faith and Growing in Love. Our Scripture reading, 1 Corinthians 3:1-11, will be read by Suzanne Morse, who will also lead the Offertory Prayer. Richard Reynolds Huss plays “Rhosymedre” from Three Welsh Hymn Tunes by Ralph Vaughan Williams for the Call to Worship. Rev. Chris Cottingham sings a medley of Called Me Higher and I Surrender All for the Response.
The combined Adult Sunday School class will meet at 9:30 in the Fellowship Hall. Children’s Sunday School will resume this week at 9:30 in the Prayer Garden, with Bible stories in English and Spanish, led by Rev. Jennifer Rygg and Joela Jimenez.
We will have coffee, tea & conversation in the Fellowship Hall at 10:30. This will allow for fellowship time in between Sunday School and worship while maintaining our current schedule to avoid confusion.
