First Baptist Church of Pendleton has participated in the Christmas Magi program for many years. This program provides Christmas gifts for children and food for a Christmas meal. The children are identified by the school counselors in Anderson School District 4.
Last summer an anonymous donor gave over $10,000 to Magi to begin a new program. This program provides groceries to families three times during the summer. Several of our church members were involved with the Magi Summer Food Program last year.
The project has been funded again this year. Our church has been asked to help in a bigger way. We were asked to provide volunteers for the July 15 & 16 food distribution. This involves packing groceries and distributing groceries. All of this takes place at Pendleton United Methodist Church.

Saturday, July 13 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am
∙ We need 10 people to distribute groceries
Monday & Tuesday, July 15 & 16, from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm
