Operation MAGI is the ecumenical Christmas ministry led by the Pendleton United Methodist Men since 2003. Together with fifteen other churches, last year 287 children from 102 families each received three gifts: a shirt, a pair of pants, and a toy. Each family also receives the ingredients for a Christmas meal and age-appropriate Christian literature. The schools in Anderson School District 4 provide the names of families that need assistance with gifts for their children at Christmas.

Please take one or more Stars from the Magi Tree which has been set up on the table near the office. Affix a single Star on each individually-wrapped gift. If a gift bag is used for gifts, staple the top to avoid spills. Place gift cards in a stapled bag. Each child is to have three (3) separately wrapped gifts (pant, shirt, toy) with one star on each gift. Please do not consolidate gifts. Children count and they have been told they will receive 3!! Gifts will be due back at FBCP no later than Wednesday, December 4.
