On Thursday, Feb 13 the Sanctuary Choir will participate in Musica Ecclesia (Church Music), an ecumenical concert of local church choirs which benefits Clemson Community Care. Hosted by Southern Wesleyan University, the concert will be held in Newton Hobson Auditorium (737 Wesleyan Dr, Central) at 7:30 pm and will include a love offering for Clemson Community Care. The Sanctuary Choir of First Baptist Church of Pendleton will perform two songs. In addition, the Sanctuary Choir and the Adult Choir of St. Andrew Catholic Church will collaborate on “The Majesty and Glory of Your Name” by Linda Lee Johnson and Tom Fettke. Rev. Chris Cottingham will direct the collaborative piece, and Richard Huss will accompany on SWU’s Steinway concert grand piano. We hope you will plan to attend!
