Rooted in Faith and Growing in Love

July 4, 2021 · 10:45 am · Sixth Sunday after Pentecost ∙ Independence Day

9:00 Coffee, Tea, & Conversation (Fellowship Hall)
9:30 Sunday School for Children & Adults (Fellowship Hall and Classrooms)
10:45 Worship (Sanctuary and Facebook Live)

Congregational singing resumes July 4. Please note that it is extremely important for unvaccinated adults to wear masks when singing, as singing spreads particles significantly further.

Pastor Jennifer Rygg preaches the sermon “How to Find Strength in Times of Weakness.” Our Scripture readings include a responsive reading of Psalm 145:1-3, 8-10, 13b, 21, led by Rev. Jennifer Rygg, and the New Testament reading will be 2 Corinthians 12:2-10, read by Rick Massey, who will also lead the Offertory Prayer. Richard Reynolds Huss will play “God of Our Fathers” for the Offertory, and Rev. Chris Cottingham will sing a solo of “His Strength Is Perfect” for the Response.

We will have coffee, tea, & conversation in the Fellowship Hall at 9:00.

The combined Adult Sunday School class will meet at 9:30 in the Fellowship Hall, and other Sunday School classes meet in their classrooms. Children’s Sunday School will meet at 9:30 in Room 101, with Bible stories in English and Spanish, led by Rev. Jennifer Rygg and Joela Jimenez.
