Welcome to First Baptist Church of Pendleton!
Rooted In Faith and Growing In Love

April 11, 2021 · Second Sunday of Easter
Our guest preacher is a long-time friend of our church, Rev. Dr. Jay Kieve, CBFSC Coordinator, who preaches the sermon Walking the Road, which incorporates Luke 24:13-35. Spencer Willoughby reads Scripture from Jeremiah 31:31-34 and Psalm 92:1-4. The children get to hear The Lord’s Prayer sung by Rev. Chris Cottingham, then pray it aloud with him. Richard Reynolds Huss plays the vibrant Prelude in Classic Style for the Offertory Hymn, and Rev. Chris Cottingham performs a solo with Broken Body of Christ. He also has announcements regarding the CBFSC Virtual General Assembly on Apr 16, an in-person Adult Sunday School class starting Apr 18, our Quarterly Church Conference & Picnic on Apr 25, and our Repair & Revitalize Capital Campaign.
