Children’s Ministry at FBCP has looked drastically different for the past few months. In August, children’s ministry volunteers delivered resources to help children and families engage in faith formation at home. Each child received age-appropriate resources such as a Bible, puzzles, games, a coloring book, and music. In September and October, we mailed a missions education resource from CBF which includes a story of mission work around the world for families to read together, along with activities to emphasize each week’s story. Our children’s ministry volunteers are working on plans for ways to continue to reach out to our children in this time of physical distancing. For those who are comfortable attending in person, we have prepared children’s bags for children to use during worship. Children participating in online worship are encouraged to join in from home, especially during the Time for Children. These photos show various ways our children are continuing to grow in faith, even in these challenging times.
