Richard Huss is the Organist at First Baptist Church of Pendleton. He is a native of Greenville and holds two degrees from Bob Jones University, one in Accounting and one in Human Resources. He has studied music since first grade, and while in college took several courses in Hymnology and Organ Service Playing.
His experience includes serving as Organist and Deacon at Griggs Memorial Baptist Church from 2002 – 2013, and then a position as Assistant Organist at Christ Church Episcopal in Greenville, where he later became Interim Organist and then Music Department Administrator. He is also on the Board of the Greenville Chapter of the American Guild of Organists.
Richard lives in Greenville and is the proud “Doggie Dad” to his dog, Basil.
