SUNDAY MORNINGS

8:45 a.m. Dayclear Contemporary Worship:  Dayclear is a Gullah word that describes the  moment in time just after dawn when all is fully light. We call our contemporary service Dayclear to honor God who “is light and in Him there is no darkness at all.” (I John 1:5)

9:45 a.m.  Children's Sunday School Assembly Time in the Fellowship Hall.

9:45 a.m.  Bible Study:  Have you ever wished you could hear God speak directly to you? God does through the Bible!  We offer age-appropriate Bible study for children and a variety of classes (Men’s, Women’s, Co-Ed, and Topic-based) for adults.

11:00 a.m. Traditional Worship:
We are well known for a tradition of honoring God through excellent music and inspired preaching.

Sunday Afternoons and Evenings

We take the concept of Sabbath seriously. The Sabbath is a day God gives us to rest and remember who and Whose we really are. We reserve Sunday afternoons for rest. We encourage you to spend the afternoon doing something that nourishes your soul: take a walk with friends or family, read a good book, take a nap, or play with some kids. Don’t ruin God’s gift to you by going to the office or doing meaningless work.

On Sunday Evenings, we encourage our members to find ways to enjoy Sabbath in all of the various ways Scripture teaches:

First Sunday of the month

FAMILY SABBATH—Find a creative way to enjoy God’s wonderful gifts of family and rest

Second Sunday of the month

OUTREACH NIGHT—Discover a way to serve someone else. Visit a shut-in, invite the neighbors to supper, or write letters to people you are praying for. Find ways to involve the whole family in reaching out in Jesus’ name.

Third Sunday of the month

WORSHIP—We offer a 6:00 p.m. worship service. Some months we have communion, others we worship in our prayer garden or through a concert.

Fourth Sunday of the month

CHURCH BUSINESS—Committees have the opportunity to meet and we have quarterly church conferences.

 Fifth Sunday of the month

CHURCH WIDE SOCIAL—Square Dancing, Beach Parties, BBQ suppers, talent contests—after all, the church family that plays together, stays together!
