We Have Many Ways You Can Help in Our Community
We support Clemson Community Care in many ways. You can always help by bringing food for their Food Pantry, which serves those in need in the Pendleton/Clemson/Central area. Bring non-perishable items that are not microwave only to the drum painted like canned food in the church's first floor hallway. Current needs are spaghetti sauce, pasta, pudding and paper goods. CCC continues to report an increase in requests for assistance, so please remember to give to help families in need in our area.
S.O.U.P. is the community program by area churches and operating out of the First Baptist Kitchen that serves meals three nights a week to the sick and shut ins of our community. You may bring food donations to the marked box near the water cooler in the first floor hallway, volunteer to serve meals on a route or help with meal preparation. Contact Margie Whelchel at 617-0738 to volunteer. Monetary donations are also accepted and your check may be made payable to First Baptist Church FOR S.O.U.P.
