Revelation is one of the most misunderstood and mininterpreted books of the Bible.  In this, the first of a series of sermons Courtney and Jennifer will preach on Revelation, Courtney offers an interpretative clue found in the very first verse.  This sermon was preached on April 11, 2010.  The text is Revelation 1: 1-8

Palm Sunday is a celebration.  We celebrate Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem.  We celebrate the Lordship of Jesus.  But Palm Sunday is also only a few days away from Good Friday.  How can we celebrate Palm Sunday while Good Friday looms?  In these short reflections our Pastors Jennifer McClung and Courtney Krueger offer insights into Palm Sunday and Good Friday.  The texts are from Luke 19 and 22.  They preached these reflections on March 28, 2010 which was Palm Sunday.

When God calls, it isn't a call to stability but a call to adventure.  Courtney explores the calls of Isaiah (Isaiah 6: 1-8) and Peter (Luke 5: 1-11) in this sermon that culminated with an opportunity for members and friends to come forward, pick up a small wooden cross and hear the charge, "Jesus calls you to deny yourself, pick up your cross and follow him."
