Jennifer was born in Louisville, Kentucky. She spent most of her childhood in Ecuador where her family served as missionaries. When Jennifer was ten years old, they returned to the U.S. and moved to Haddock, Georgia. Jennifer attended the University of Georgia, where she majored in language education and graduated in 2004. She then attended seminary at McAfee School of Theology and graduated with a Masters of Divinity in 2007. She participated in a pastoral residency program at Milledge Avenue Baptist Church in Athens, Georgia. In March of 2009, she moved to Pendleton, South Carolina to serve as associate pastor at FBCP.
Jennifer loves living in South Carolina! She enjoys traveling, mountain biking, running, and reading. She has run two half-marathons and completed her first full marathon in October, 2010. Her all-time favorite novel is The Mermaid Chair by Sue Monk Kidd. She has two cats, Penguin and Espresso.
