Christine Dowling facilitates a monthly Chair Yoga Class and a Support Group for people with Multiple Sclerosis. Family members are also welcome to participate. They meet the first Tuesday of each month in conference room 304. The Chair Yoga Class starts at 10:00 am. The Support Group meets from 11:00 am - 12:15 pm. PENDLETON COMMUNITY COUNSELING CENTER
In partnership with the Baptist Easley Pastoral Counseling Center, First Baptist Church of Pendleton hosts thePendleton Community Counseling Center.
A professional counselor can help with a variety of problems including depression, stress and anxiety, child and adolescent problems, marital and family conflict, sexual dysfunctions, alcohol and drug abuse, divorce, special needs of the aging, matters of faith, personal growth, difficulties in school and work.
Dr. Don Keller is onsite weekly at FBCP. Other counselors are available at other locations -- a list is available on the providers page (click here).
Counseling is offered on a sliding fee scale from $25 - $100 per hour depending upon income. Members of First Baptist Church of Pendleton are entitled to one free session (be sure to mention that you are a member of FBCP when you call to make an appointment).
